Baby blanket

Standard

I started a new project: a baby blanket for a friend from work who’s pregnant! I’m so excited for her and wanted to make something nice and useful for the baby. So I decided to make her a cutsie little blanket.

The blanket will be loosely based on this blanket that I found on Etsy.

But I’ll be using different colors than shown in the picture. I’ll be using these colors:

White, fuchsia and royal blue

I already made some progress and am totally looking forward to finishing this project!

African Flower Pincushion

Standard

Hey there!

First of all, I’m sorry that I’m not posting as regularly as I wanted to, but I’m in the middle of moving into a new flat and next to work it kinda stressy at the moment. It’s gonna be better after the move!

Anyway, today I decided to indulge myself a little and relaxed on the couch while hooking a mini project. I crocheted a super quick pincushion.

I didn’t make progress pics this time, because it was so quick and I just couldn’t stop! 😉

I got the pattern from here.

How do you guys like it?

Ripple Pillow

Standard

So, first real content post! 🙂

This weekend I started to make a pillow case for one of my pillows on my couch because I really don’t like the old ones anymore. I decided to use a ripple pattern, because I quite like the look of it.

Yeah, that’s how far I’ve got up until now. But I’m gonna continue right after posting this. 😉

I’m using the pattern from the lovely Lucy over at Attic24, if you wanna make one for yourself.

So, how do you like it so far?

Love,

Jen

Here we go

Standard

I always hate the first post on any blog.

Since there isn’t anything there yet I can only talk about what I want this to be:

I want this blog to be like a journal where I can share my crocheted goodies and maybe talk about them and if I’m lucky hear what other people think about them.

I don’t know how often I will post here, because sometimes I’m really slow with crocheting and sometimes I’m fast. So check back every other while?

What’s there to say about me? I’m 27 years old, live in Germany and my life in general isn’t that interesting. I’ve got an office job that I quite like and when I’m not doing something with my friends or family, I love to sit on my couch, listen to audiobooks and crochet beautiful, colorful and wooly things! I also really love me some English/American tv series.

So yeah, expect the unexpected!

Love,

Jen
